ABOUT DANIEL CARNEY

Daniel believes that if a person wants to live a long, healthy and active life, they need to receive regular bodywork and engage in a fitness program built on functional exercise.

Daniel Carney is certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork NCBTMB. He is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association AMTA, and the International Association of Structural Integrators IASI.

Daniel is CROSSFIT Level II certified, and is a U.S.A. Weightlifting Club Coach through USAW.

Daniel began his formal study of the human body at the CORE Institute School of Massage Therapy and Structural Bodywork CISMTSB. Since 1997, Daniel has worked with a wide range of clientele, from professional and recreational athletes wanting to improve their performance, to those looking for pain relief and a return to normal function.

Daniel's training and experience in working with elite level athletes earned him a position on the Athens Health Services Sports Massage Team, providing sports massage for the athletes of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

Daniel is forever a student of the human body, but has occasionally stepped into the instructor's role and taught new and professional massage therapists at schools and weekend seminars.

Daniel has been active his whole life. As a kid he was involved in many sports- soccer, baseball, football, swimming and gymnastics. In his adult life he began his study of massage therapy and structural integration, aikido, judo, Pilates, yoga, qi-gong, meditation, and weightlifting. He uses his education and experience to deliver the results that his clients need and want. Results that are guaranteed.
